Rob joined the firm, in 2003, and since then has earned numerous company awards including the Divisional Leaders Corps. as a member of the Retirement Benefits Group, a specialized division of Equitable Advisors.
Rob's responsibilities include working with teachers and staff of local area schools and non-profit organizations to help them address their retirement and estate planning strategies. He creates suitable financial strategies and offers a wide variety of financial products and services.
Rob uses his expertise to educate his clients about their financial concerns such as, Tax-Sheltered Retirement Savings, income needs during retirement, life insurance and financial protection. "My business partner, Matt Gates, and I feel that it is important to stay abreast of your investments and financial situation. To that end, I am available on-site at your school several times a year. I also encourage my clients to meet with me on a regular basis for their periodic financial reviews."
Rob holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations and his Life & Health License. He is active in both community and professional associations, including Crayons to Computers, and a Freestore for teachers. He is an Eagle Scout and is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Mr. Von Gerds graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a minor in Economics.
